Betekristian is a natural resin produced from Boswellia papyrifera, a tree species found in the highland regions of Ethiopia, Sudan, and Eritrea. It is one of the historically most important Boswellia species in the incense trade.
It has a larger size compared to Messer, of the same yellow-ambery color. It has a fresh citrusy, resinous, and spicy aroma, with nuances of lemon and beeswax. Ideal for scenting and purifying spaces, it is one of the most appreciated resins for fumigation rituals.
