OGADEN, natural resin granules from Ethiopia, 20 gr
Ogaden resin comes from Boswellia rivae, a frankincense tree growing in the arid regions of the Horn of Africa, particularly in Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya.
The resin appears in dark amber grains or fragments, often slightly translucent. Compared to other better-known Boswellia species, Boswellia rivae produces a resin with a warmer and deeper aromatic profile.
When burned, it releases a warm, resinous and slightly spicy fragrance, with a soft and enveloping note that lingers in the environment. For these characteristics it is appreciated as a natural incense for aromatic diffusion.
