Africa with its intense colors, hypnotic sounds, and sweet fragrances in the air… exotic and precious aromas derived from spices, woods, resins, leaves, and flowers.
Our story began here in 2004. The immediate attraction and powerful charm that these important aromatic and medicinal materials elicited revealed our mission, focusing our company’s activities on gum resins and every other plant material that can be used as incense.
We have imported and commercialized materials previously unknown to the market, continually expanding the horizons of our research, and today we import the best natural incenses from all over the world.
We have chosen a scientific approach to promote awareness, and through an interdisciplinary study of botany, chemistry, and traditional medicine, we have built twenty years of knowledge and experience in this field.
ANBESA has participated in all trade fairs in the industry, organized conferences and seminars, exhibited its collection of incense-producing plants belonging to the Burseraceae family; published texts and articles, and collaborated with botanical, chemical, and pharmaceutical institutes.
We pay attention to the selection of high-quality raw materials and guarantee their sustainability: we research and maintain stable commercial relationships with local producers worldwide, based on a criterion of fairness and long-term collaboration. In this perspective, plants represent a fundamental means of subsistence for collectors, without which none of this would exist.
