PURE ESSENTIAL OIL produced by hydrodistillation  from Boswellia dalzielii resin, 5 ml.

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS:

1. Boswellic acids: a group of pentacyclic triterpenes, which are unique to Boswellia species. Boswellic acids are reported to have anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and analgesic properties.

2. Incensole and incensole acetate: diterpenes that are found in high concentrations in Boswellia dalziellii resin. They have been reported to have anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, and anti-depressant properties.

3. Alpha-pinene and beta-pinene: monoterpenes that are present in the essential oil of Boswellia dalziellii. They have been reported to have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.

4. Limonene: a cyclic terpene found in Boswellia dalziellii essential oil, which has been reported to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

5. Alpha-copaene: a sesquiterpene found in Boswellia dalziellii resin. It has been reported to have anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.

The oil is not soluble in water, but can be diluted in oil or ethyl alcohol. It should be stored in a closed glass bottle, away from direct sources of light and heat. The oil is irritant to mucous membranes and should not be used during pregnancy. It can be used for aromatherapy purposes, such as diffused in vaporizers or added to bath water. The oil can also be used for massage and skincare, but should be diluted in a carrier oil beforehand. When creating perfumes with essential oils, an appropriate amount should be added to alcoholic or oily bases.
